Event-Code Alerts
GuardTrax™ has three multi-function buttons on the front of the device. These pre-programmed buttons can be keyed in a specific sequence to report up to 27 specific events or incidents a security officer may encounter during a shift. When an officer keys a specific 3-digit event code, the device will transmit that code to the server. The server will then transmit an alert notification to designated supervisors via SMS text message or email. Additionally, when an event-code is entered into the device, a precise GPS-acquired location is transmitted as well, allowing supervisors to pinpoint the guard’s exact location.
Panic Button
Security officers are in a position to encounter emergency situations. A forth button on the GuardTrax™ is a dedicated panic alert. When initiated, the device will send a panic alert and location to the server that is transmitted to the designated supervisor. Then GuardTrax™ will open a voice channel with 911 and operate as a cell phone so the guard can communicate the details of the emergency.
Non-Motion/Motion Alert
GuardTrax™ integrates a highly sensitive motion sensor, giving supervisors the ability to know job duties are being performed appropriately. The unit can be set to report movement or lack of movement, depending on the nature of the post or assignment. Based on the device’s setting, an alert will be transmitted (via the server) to designated supervisors.
GeoFence
Security firm management and/or supervisors have the ability to remotely activate a geo fence around the post to be monitored. A geo-fence is an invisible fence created by setting specific GPS latitude, longitude and radius parameters. If a security officer using GuardTrax™ crosses (or breaks) the fence by traveling into, or beyond, specifically defined geographical boundaries (ie leaving a post or location), GuardTrax™ transmits an alert to the server, which then sends an email or text message notifying pre-designated supervisors.
