Intergis, the foremost developer of automated routing and scheduling solutions was awarded a national roll-out contract with ARAMARK, a leader in providing uniform and career apparel to health care institutions, universities and school districts, stadiums and arenas, and businesses throughout the U.S. ARAMARK will realize significant cost savings in its daily operations by using the Intergis Visual Control Room Solution to automate routing, scheduling, dispatching, and route/territory planning. The savings will reach millions of dollars over the next few years in the form of transportation and employee-related costs by creating the most efficient delivery routes and work schedules possible.
A pilot test of the software’s capabilities was performed in one ARAMARK office in California to understand the full range of efficiencies that can be gained with Visual Control Room. That test proved so successful that ARAMARK decided to roll out the software to all 200 locations in the U.S., where Visual Control Room will create 3,500 routes with between 10-30 stops each day.
“The solution we're providing to ARAMARK really hits at the heart of our core strengths,” says Intergis president, Steven Brown. “We are able to create significant improvements in operational efficiencies and substantially reduce transportation related costs for large organizations. The more routes and drivers, the larger the savings. ARAMARK will significantly improve their bottom line with Visual Control Room. That’s the kind of benefit we enjoy bringing to our customers.”
